Child Therapy
Child Therapy at New-Horizons Counseling Nurturing Young Minds for a Brighter Future
I help children through problematic transitions, bullying, defiance, and social/mental health challenges with a kind and gentle approach. I use rapport-building and play therapy to make the experience safe and effective. I create a supportive and non-judgmental space for your child.
Shaped by my cultural background, lived experiences, and career as a college basketball player I incorporate that in my therapy. My many years of working with youth with challenging behaviors have helped me build lasting relationships and create positive outcomes.
Why Child Therapy?
Children face a variety of challenges as they grow, from school pressures and bullying to emotional transitions like moving, divorce, or changes in friendships. As a parent, you might notice your child is more withdrawn, acting out, or struggling with emotions that seem too big for them to manage on their own. Child therapy offers a safe, supportive space where your child can express themselves, learn healthy ways to cope, and develop the emotional tools they need to navigate life’s challenges.
